Start with what is going to the show
Displays & graphic panels
Protect faces, edges and corners. Separate hardware and brackets so they cannot rub against finished surfaces.
Measure the display in its packed or disassembled form before choosing a container.
Demonstration equipment
Support equipment at suitable load-bearing points and protect screens, controls, connectors and projections.
Secure cables and accessories separately so they cannot strike the equipment.
Samples & event kits
Group suitable items into an organized packing arrangement with an inventory your team can follow.
Use separation and restraint to keep individual pieces from moving against one another.
Does everything need to travel on a pallet?
Some event shipments can move as individual parcels when their packed dimensions, weight, contents and packing meet the selected service's requirements.
Larger booth components or equipment may need freight. Confirm the event's receiving rules before choosing either option. Parcel shipping does not automatically remove venue handling charges or delivery requirements.
Plan all three stages
1. Before dispatch
Confirm the receiving address, delivery window, required labels and contact. Photograph the packing and record the contents.
2. At the event
Keep reusable supports and packing materials together. Follow the event's arrangements for empty-container storage and retrieval.
3. After the show
Repack using the instructions, inspect the container and confirm the return labels, paperwork and pickup arrangements.

Trade show shipping questions
Which Kübox format should I choose?
Flat formats may suit shallow panels and displays. Trunk or Square formats may suit samples, equipment and grouped event materials. Freight Cube can be evaluated for suitable palletized loads.
Choose by usable interior space after allowing for cushioning, supports, separation and restraint. Compare assembled exterior dimensions and total packed weight when planning transport.
Sizes are listed in inches and centimeters. Custom configurations can be evaluated when standard sizes do not fit.
What should I confirm with the event organizer?
Use the exhibitor instructions for the particular event. Confirm:
- Whether to ship to an advance warehouse, the venue or another approved receiving point.
- Accepted carriers, arrival dates and delivery windows.
- Required exhibitor, booth and shipment labels.
- Material handling, storage and delivery charges.
- Return paperwork, pickup procedures and deadlines.
A carrier delivery confirmation does not necessarily mean the shipment has reached your booth. Coordinate receipt with the event's designated contact.
Can I use my own shipping account?
Yes. You can use your carrier or freight account to ship your purchased Kübox order to you. Contact us before checkout to arrange this.
Once your event materials are packed, you can also book their shipment directly through your chosen carrier account, subject to the event's receiving requirements.
Delivery of your purchased containers and shipping your packed event materials are separate shipments.
How do we make repacking easier for the team?
Photograph each layer of the packing arrangement. Label reusable inserts and identify where equipment, samples and accessories belong.
Include an inventory and simple repacking instructions. Keep suitable internal protection with the container throughout the event.
Inspect the container and packing before the next trip. Replace damaged components and reassess the arrangement if the contents change.
Can we collapse the containers during the event?
Kübox can be disassembled for storage. Keep the components and suitable internal packing organized for reassembly.
Follow the venue's rules for where empty containers and packing materials may be stored. Confirm how and when they will be returned for move-out.
Can one container carry several items?
Yes, when the packing arrangement provides appropriate individual protection, separation and restraint for all contents.
Keep heavy equipment from loading delicate displays or samples. Include every item and all packing materials when calculating total packed weight.
Parcel shipments may travel on any face. Prepare for handling in different orientations.
What about screens and demonstration electronics?
Protect displays from direct pressure and support equipment at appropriate structural points. Keep loose hardware and accessories away from sensitive surfaces.
Follow manufacturer instructions for transport preparation and any special protection the equipment requires.
What if the shipment needs freight?
Choose a suitable freight service when the finished load exceeds parcel limits, needs pallet handling or must follow an event's freight arrangements.
Freight Cube or custom configurations can be evaluated for suitable loads, with appropriate internal support, restraint and pallet securement.
Managing a recurring event or demonstration program?
Standardize the container sizes, packing inserts, inventories and instructions around the kits your teams use.
Businesses using around 100 units per month, managing repeat shipping programs or ordering recurring custom sizes may also want to evaluate manufacturing under a Kübox license.
Compare purchasing finished containers with licensed production based on your sizes, volume, reuse, equipment, labor and location. The volume example is a starting point for discussion, not a minimum requirement or a guarantee of savings.
Start with the kit you need to move
Send us the contents, dimensions, weight and photographs. Include the event destination, required arrival date and whether the materials return home or travel to another show.
