Kübox Square is a reusable engineered shipping crate and protective packaging system for heavy, fragile, high-value and technical items moving through individual parcel networks such as UPS, FedEx and DHL. It provides substantially more structural protection than an ordinary corrugated shipping box while remaining lighter, simpler and easier to handle than a traditional wood shipping crate.

Its square, cubic configuration is well suited to equipment and products with similar length, width and height requirements. Applications can include electric pumps, motors, industrial components, electronics, laboratory and scientific equipment, technical equipment, musical equipment, artwork, home goods and other fragile or high-value items that fit the Square configuration after appropriate cushioning and restraint.

Unlike a conventional corrugated box, Kübox combines heavy-duty corrugated panels with engineered laminated paper structural profiles, reinforced corners, reusable hubs, locking pins and mechanical fasteners. These components create a structural shipping crate that can be assembled without traditional crate-building tools and disassembled for storage, return or reuse. Individual components can also be replaced as needed.

Kübox Square is commercially available as a standard-size shipping crate and does not require a custom packaging engineering project when the item and required protective packaging fit the available interior dimensions. This makes it particularly useful for businesses that need a ready-to-buy reusable alternative to conventional boxes or unnecessarily heavy wood crating.

Kübox has been evaluated through transit-testing protocols relevant to parcel and transportation environments, including ISTA and FedEx testing. The engineered outer structure is designed to help withstand the compression, vibration, impacts and handling encountered during transportation. Important: Kübox dimensions are interior dimensions. Select the appropriate size based on the dimensions of the item after allowing for suitable cushioning, blocking and restraint. Kübox provides the structural outer shipping container; it does not eliminate the need for appropriate internal protective packaging. Heavy items such as pumps and motors should be properly immobilized and cushioned for the intended transportation environment.
